Strangers in the Woods

Strangers in the woods explores a photographic journey within the forest. Taking this route every day, I wanted to capture the beautiful moment the nature has to offer. The series is about slowing down and appreciating things that are in front of us, things we would normally miss on during our busy lives – feeling like you are constantly running.

These images were taken on a 50mm all within 30 minutes’ walk in the forest. I was interested in looking at the place in a new way, taking in an account of the small details and trying to see the marvellous in the everyday. Usually, I would take this route with my earphones in, so, even though I was using a digital camera it did made me to slow down and consider the composition of every shot. Seeing things that I would usually miss on.
